Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - Bob: We need to talk about the Table and Format bug ARs: - Mike draft String parsing bug report and send to Bob for review. - Done. - Bob submitted BUG 159. - Mike produce text files for each IBISCHK message that has no comment. - No new progress. - Mike recover percent format specifications in spreadsheet. - Some progress, going faster with larger screen. - Mike add comments to CMPNT, DLY, MSPEC sections. - No new progress. - Lance add comments to EBD section. - No new progress. - Bob add comments to CIRCUIT section. - No new progress. IBISCHK bug 159: - Bob showed bug 159. - Bob: Not much needs to be said about this. - It will be prioritized this Friday. IBISCHK bug 160: - Bob showed bug 160. - Bob: These are code issues, not functional. - Curtis has provided the solution. IBISCHK Format and Table parsing problem: - Bob showed a testcase AMI file from Mike's reserved word investigation. - Bob: This has lowercase versions of reserved words but it checks clean. - Bob showed a second testcase AMI file from Mike's reserved word investigation. - Bob: This has leading uppercase reserved words. - It passes the check only if the "Table" and "Format" parameters are removed. - Mike: The presence of those seems to make it treat Model_Specific as a parameter. - Bob: We need to work on this. - We might use this test case as is. - Mike: This raises the question of what "reserved word" means. - If they can be used as parameter names, that's unusual. - Other specifications mostly do not allow reserved words to be used as names. - Bob: IBIS does not prevent them from being parameter names. Additional IBISCHK code cleanup: - Bob showed an email from Curtis Clark: - Mike: This is the bug 160 email? - Bob: No, it came after. - It lists deprecated files and other straightforward cleanups. - This might not need to be a bug. - Mike: It might become a note in the developer contract. - Bob showed an RCS header example in a code file. - Bob: Curtis suggested removing those. - Mike: I agree, they are deceptive since they are out of date. - Does Atul use version control? - Bob: I don't know. - Bob showed the IBISCHK source distribution files. - Bob: Atul has maintained a lot of testing files for old versions. - Some test suites use TCL for example, which we don't use any more. - Mike: We might ask Atul to propose what he would do for cleanup. - Mike: Do we have every source distribution ever received? - Bob: No we keep only the latest uploaded. - But several people all have copies. - Bob checked, we have source distributions for 514, 600,and 601 on eda.org.
